Turnerlyne Blackhair (right) and Kaly Arvizu smile after returning as winners from the 2012 Arizona Science and Enginnering Science Fair. Blackhair, a sixth grade student, took fourth place for Environmental Sciences. Her project was titled "Is Earth Friendly Soaps Safe?" Arvizu, a fifth grade student, took second place for Social and Behavioral Sciences. Her project was titled "Ouch, That Hurts - Creating and Discovering 'Pain.'" Both are students at Tuba City Boarding School.
